Appellate Law

The professionals in the HPK Appellate Law practice group have experience before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the Court of Appeals of Maryland, and the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. The attorneys in the Appellate group have handled a diverse number of complex issues, ranging from interpretation of the United States Constitution to the interpretation of state statutes in accordance with federal guidelines. They are all licensed to argue before the Maryland appellate courts. Additionally, the professionals in this practice group are eligible for licensure in many additional federal appellate courts.

The Hodes, Pessin & Katz Appellate Law Practice Group is comprised of experienced trial attorneys who are equipped to cases from initial complaint through the exhaustion of any and all appellate remedies. Additionally, the professionals in the Appellate Law Group can be retained after trial to argue appeals in both state and federal courts.
